How do we know the difference?” What a complex issue! I will try and unpack some of the threads woven into this question this morning and bring the hope of the gospel to bear to this question.

“You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.” Isaiah 26:3
“And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard you hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7
